초고령사회의 도래와 경제적 풍요로 건강한 삶에 대한 욕구는 점점 더 커지고 있습니다. 이러한 욕구를 충족시키고자 KIST 헬스케어로봇연구단은 인공지능(AI), 가상/증강현실(3D/VR/AR), 로봇기술(Soft robot, Cobot, Microsurgery robot) 등의 첨단 기술들을 바탕으로 보다 효율적이고 안전한 디지털 의료 솔루션을 개발하고 있습니다.
본 연구단은 지난 10여년간 가상현실/증강현실 수술 내비게이션 시스템, 카테터 중재시술 로봇, 미세수술 로봇 등을 개발하면서 의료정보 및 의료로봇과 관련한 핵심 기술을 확보하였고, 이를 기반으로 의료지능 기반 디지털 지원 수술 로봇 시스템을 개발하여 인류의 건강한 삶에 이바지하고자 합니다.
Center for Healthcare Robotics at KIST
With the advent of a super-aged society and economic affluence, the desire for a healthy life is growing. To meet this desire, Center for Healthcare Robotics(CHR) at KIST is developing more efficient and safe digital medical solutions based on advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual/ augmented reality (3D/VR/AR), and robot technology (Soft robot, Cobot, Microsurgery robot).
The CHR has secured key technologies related to medical information and medical robots by developing VR/AR surgical navigation systems, catheter intervention robots, and micro-surgical robots over the past decade or so, and based on this, it aims to contribute to the healthy life of mankind by developing a digital assist surgical robot system based on medical intelligence.
